Beyond Jewellery: Gemstones in Textiles

Traditionally, gemstones have adorned crowns, necklaces and ceremonial objects. At HEMJI, we explore another possibility.

Instead of limiting these extraordinary materials to jewellery, we carefully incorporate natural gemstones into hand embroidery, allowing textiles to carry the same sense of rarity and permanence.

Each gemstone is individually selected and hand-embroidered onto garments by skilled artisans. The result is not simply embellishment, but a conversation between textile and stone—between softness and permanence.

This approach reflects our belief that clothing can become more than fashion. It can become something collected, preserved and passed on.
